Plasma cutting

You can cut metals not only with a chisel (a mechanical tool), but also with a plasma jet (ionized gas). The plasma cutting method is the most high-tech, accurate and rational among the existing ones. Using this technology, it is possible to obtain metal structures of any complexity in the engineering and construction industries.

For structural alloys, the presented method is optimal in cutting quality. If you want to get round billets of large diameter from stainless steel, then the plasma cutting method is the most optimal (using mechanical methods it is not always possible to cut a sheet of stainless steel in a shaped fashion).

HOW DOES PLASMA CUTTING HAPPEN?

Plasma cutting is done on a CNC machine. An electric arc is ignited between the workpiece (the metal being cut) and the electrode. When gas is supplied under high pressure (several atmospheres) a plasma jet of enormous temperature is formed, which can have a speed of up to 1500 m / s. This ionized gas jet is capable of cutting metal like butter knife.

WHAT METALS CAN BE CUT?

Our equipment can be cut by plasma cutting products from the following alloys: stainless steel; carbon steel;  Aluminium alloy; copper alloy; some other alloys (please specify).

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM METAL THICKNESS?

Given the power of the equipment, there is a limit on the thickness of the metal being cut - up to 10 mm.
