When can the formwork be removed?

For work at height in the construction industry, various types of structures are used, including scaffold towers. Why do builders choose scaffold towers for their work?
The main task of a scaffold tower is to provide a working platform for performing actions at a distance from the ground.
Often, the height of a ladder is not enough for work on a construction site. In many cases, you have to deal with heavy objects, and a ladder is not suitable for this; a strong, spacious platform is needed. You have often seen scaffolding on construction sites that stands on the site for weeks and months. But installing scaffolding wherever access to a height is needed can be too expensive. A scaffold tower can be an alternative to scaffolding.
Towers are mobile scaffolding with a small area. What can a scaffold tower be used for and what are its advantages?
A mobile scaffold, equipped with wheels with a brake, can be moved around the construction site to where work at a height needs to be performed. After locking the wheels, you can climb to a height for work. The scaffolding tower increases its stability due to inclined stabilizers, which are attached on 4 sides, and is leveled on the ground using screw jacks.
The working platform is placed at the required height and heavy tools and materials can be safely used in the work.
Builders use scaffolding towers for bricklaying, roofing, building repairs and maintenance. When an inspection is needed, inspectors and engineers can also climb the scaffolding tower to assess communications and infrastructure elements.
Plasterers use the scaffolding tower to plaster walls, window washers - for cleaning. It is safer and more convenient to carry out such work on the scaffolding tower than on a ladder, when you would have to go down and up with equipment and materials every few minutes.
Compared to fixed scaffolding, scaffolding towers have quite a few advantages.
On uneven terrain, scaffolds can be positioned stably by leveling them with jacks. When work does not allow for the attachment of scaffolding to the building, a stable scaffold can be useful. In conditions of limited space, a scaffold provides a secure platform for work, which is not possible with a ladder.
To avoid carrying heavy tools and consumables up and down, they are conveniently placed on the scaffold platform. Different deck areas allow you to choose the optimal scaffold for the project. Having tools and materials at hand allows you to finish the job much faster.
Steel scaffolds can withstand a significant load - 200 kg / m2. Builders with heavy equipment will be located on the scaffold, so strength is a key parameter. This is reliable equipment designed for long-term use, which is important for commercial benefits.
The scaffold is easy and quick to assemble, requiring no special preparation before construction. Different colors of elements simplify installation. No tools are needed for assembly, intermediate sections can be easily added or removed.
The scaffolding tower can be assembled by one or two workers. The entire team is not needed for installation, as is the case with scaffolding. One person can also move the tower to a new location. This means that you will not have to involve more workers to assemble and transport the scaffolding tower. This option is optimal if only 1 or 2 people are working.
