What height ladder do I need?

In winter, construction is suspended because low temperatures, precipitation, and cold winds make it difficult to remain outdoors for long periods. Scaffolding is not needed during this period, so it is dismantled and stored in a designated location.

If a suitable storage area is not available, scaffolds on pallets should be covered with a waterproof tarp to prevent precipitation.
To prevent deformation of large metal scaffold components, such as frames and detachments, they should be stacked and stored horizontally.

Storing scaffolds outdoors will lead to corrosion of steel components and rotting of wooden decking. Piled scaffolding will warp and deform over time, so it's important to store scaffolding horizontally on wooden pallets.
To protect scaffolding from rust and rot during storage, the surface of the components is treated with special protective compounds. These measures extend the life of the scaffolding: corrosion inhibitors are applied to steel components, and fire-retardant and antifungal agents are applied to lumber.

After scaffolding is dismantled, it must be thoroughly inspected. Scaffolding of any type should be inspected for:
If rust is detected on metal components, it should be sanded and a new coat of paint should be applied.
Before storing scaffolding for long-term storage, small fasteners and components are packed in bags or boxes with inventory tags.
Storing scaffolding on the floor or ground is not recommended, as it will rust quickly. Optimally, scaffolding should be stored sorted on wooden pallets on racks.
Three-tier racks are suitable for storing scaffolding components. Rigging equipment or mobile forklifts are used for lifting components.
Scaffolding should be stored so that snow, rain, and dirt do not enter the hollow tubes, which can cause rust and weaken the structure.
