Scaffolding for facade work: what to consider before purchasing

You've probably noticed that stepladders differ in some way. Some are taller, some are shorter, some are painted, others have a metallic sheen. Another difference is the number of climbing sections.
Double-sided stepladders are folding ladders that can only be positioned like the letter L, and you can climb from either side. Steps for ascent and descent are located on both sides of a double-sided stepladder. By comparison, single-sided stepladders have steps on only one section.
Because of this feature, double-sided stepladders allow you to stand with both feet on both sections, which is often done by installers during:

The design of a double-sided stepladder lacks a safety bar, making the ladder lower. As a result, a double-sided stepladder is easier to store and transport. The safety bar on single-sided stepladders, such as the VIRASTAR NOVA, is 60 cm high, which must be taken into account when storing the stepladder or carrying it through doorways. The folded height of a single-sided 7-step stepladder is 2.25 m, while the folded height of an 8-step stepladder is 2.45 m. The folded length of the double-sided VIRASTAR GORA 7-step stepladder is 1.52 m, while the folded length of the GORA 8-step stepladder is 1.76 m, which is significantly shorter.
Furthermore, a double-sided stepladder doesn't need to be turned before climbing, as the steps are located on both sides, unlike a single-sided stepladder with a safety bar. If you bring a single-sided stepladder in and unfold it with the back section facing you, you'll have to turn it around, which isn't always convenient in tight spaces. A double-sided stepladder eliminates this inconvenience. No matter which way you place it, you can climb it immediately.

Ukrainian-made Virastar Gora stepladders are certified according to DSTU. This aluminum double-sided stepladder, which you can purchase from the manufacturer's warehouse right now, comes with an official one-year warranty.
